I happily came back after skill tree patch, and yesterday evening I started my linebacker event.

I'm not an assault pilot at all, so, as usual, my leaderboard stats was saying "N/A" on assault list.

But for making the event "easier" I bought a Marauder 2C, and jump in solo and group que.

This morning I saw the stats and I started to laugh.

Here we go:











1) Look at Mad-2C stats and my general assault leaderboard: how can they be SO DIFFERENT?? Also, with 2 unidentified matches more? LOL

2) look at my mad-2C stats and the even results: 5569dmg 12k and 8W..... are "translated" in ONLY 3161 match score???? really?

3) I'm missimg something about match score?
Even with that broken stats, I should have 284(average match score) * 14= 4004 points, NOT 3161

4) final consideration.

This might be an explanation of Paul Dartboard: if he has always used these broken statistics from poor pgi servers to try to balance..... he served us dartboard quirks and weapon balance for this reason.

lol yeah, something seems amiss. I know I was watching this pretty carefully on a second monitor while playing, set to auto-refresh after PGI's hourly updates, and it seemed REALLY suspect.

5569/2=2784. Damage is the largest part of match score and 2 for 1. I don't know off hand what the other values are, but 3161 over 14 matches doesn't seems too crazy.


But with the second point said, I do agree that something is pretty sketchy. I wish it would show the log of battles other events have shown so you can confirm and do things like work out how many matches it took you to get 10000 points, etc, if you already had matches in S11.

BUT, the first day of my coming back, I remember I played at least 1-2 hours with the stormcrow (aka 8-10 matches), and, wanting to see my efficiency after 6 months vacation, the day after I found a sad "N/A" in the medium mech leaderboard....

Are you sure and can u confirm that match point sum is half dmg + other bonus? Because I was remembering something different (something like 200 dmg was like 150 matchpoint, or so)

Anyway, as my assault leaderboard is showing 286 average matchpoints in 14 matches...... I should have 286+14= 4004.
(I didn't play any assault before yesterday).

Oh, well.....

Remember, it was reduced

We got something like 0.4, instead of 0.5
So not TOO different, but we never actually got an accurate reading. Wasn't worth the effort

This is to be expected. If you have <10 matches, they don't show any. Also, it only updates once per hour, so you'd need more than 10 matches before the last update for it to show.

This is also entirely possible as to the overall problem - have you checked again?

No, it was 0.5. According to McGral, it's been lowered further (a good thing, IMHO), and I hear other things have been added (now AMS destroying missiles adds to match score? That's news to me too).

I've been largely absent over the last 6 months or so, too; I come and play a half dozen or so matches per patch, but otherwise I've just been watching from a distance. With the lead up to the new Skill Tree, I pretty much lost interest in playing until things changed, and as such while I've followed the forums, not nearly so much or as closely as I used to. Helps keep my Tier 2 status, though.

Sadly, it shows in play - just 1561 in assaults, 2100 overall, when actually trying (what with the event). Rusty as all hell. *shrugs*

I had no idea. Haven't followed things so closely in the last few months. Only found out today that things had changed.

I wasn't showing up on the Assault board for days and I drove assaults for the last season a lot. More than 100 matches.


When a guy and I were comparing I had a .5 W/L and a .6 K/D at the time and that doesn't seem right at all.

Now it shows 85 matches, .89 W/L and .82 K/D, which seems a lot more likely but still off. I swear I've done a lot more matches than that.
