I know there is a few others out there that might still play MWO who have gold mechs. I know in the past we had some fun gold mech drops going almost got a 7 man (but tonnage limits)...

Anyway the idea I had was have master level skins that unlock after unlocking all nodes on all 3 or even 5 variants. This gives incentive to some to buy more than one mech yet doesn't give any advantage.

What's peoples thoughts?

TBH, I never got why there weren't achievement/FP rank/mastery locked cosmetic items. For instance, I'm honestly a bit surprised that the mech models for your cockpit aren't locked behind mastering all variants of the mech in question.

That'd be a massive waste of time for something so minimal.

I could say the same about CW...your point?

The only reason...$$$$$$$

If you actually had to work to spend money, then wallet scavenger devs would have made slightly less money off the whales who actually want to put a catapult in the cockpit of some other mech.

I mean, putting an Atlas statue in a Commando cockpit is kinda funny, in a sense. Lil Bro having a statue of Big bro inside it.

well its not a bad idea, a unique skin for fully completing all variants, in that at least it is some incentive better than nothing atm

Exactly my point. If anyone has played Paragon that game has a lot of good things going for it! One of them being master skins.
