FILLING OUT THE MWO BATTLE FIELD! IS special forces and militia forces join the MWO mech warriors to fight the clans planet by planet!!

This class idea is dedicated Theaus and to other extremely dedicated faction leaders who often die first just so they can continue to lead the battle better by jumping cockpit views. I hope this class would give you the ability to support your mechs and give you a strategic view of the battlefield without having to die first in the push every time.

So here is the idea #1:

1. PETS - The player would control a combination of helicopters, planes, tanks, deploying 2-3 pets at a time from a HQ and have up to 10 pets able to deploy. Similar to a pet class in an MMO or aircraft carriers in World of Warships. The player would pilot the HQ and command the pets to move around the map. The player could use a pet control to attack, follow, defend, stay. The player would fire all the vehicle weapons just like a Mech fires missiles and lasers.


2. Vehicle Types - Each would use different light weapon balanced suitable for MWO. Helicopters would use missiles, tanks would use lasers, planes would use ballistic. As the opponent takes out vehicles it also takes out the players firepower... Realistically this type of game play will be hit and run, heavy/assault defence and coordinated attacks in Faction.

3. Mobile HQ (command centre)- When players drop onto the map they drop as a militia or special forces mobile HQ (command centre). Inside the HQ tanks and planes are stored, up to 10. If the IS player loses a vehicle he can restock at the HQ. Allowing the player to deploy 3-5 vehicles at a time. The HQ would have very light weapons and decent armor but move extremely slow and would be vulnerable to enemy attack. A new mission for fast enemy mechs to flank around and attack HQs.

4. Destroyed - If the HQ is destroyed or the player run out of vehicles to deploy. Over heating could pop a pet vehicle and/or do damage to all vehicles deployed. Or damage the HQ.

5. Special Weapons - Each vehicle could have a special weapon or skill/ability/mod slot. For example a tank could have a laser tag ability. Helicopters a beacon, and planes ecm jammer ability only. This would make it more effective to have different types in your command or a specialized group... For example a player with all planes deployed 2-5 could hunt lights trying to flank and get behind heavy/assaults.

6. New Consumable/Useable Item - Repair kit/Engineer/Mechanic. The player could have slots on each vehicle to place repair consumables. The unit would have to be out of combat to use it. For example: The player uses the repair kit consumable but it takes 10-20 secs to complete and during that time he cant move, do damage, or take damage.

6a. Trooper Units - Mechs could use a new consumable trooper units to plant on the battlefield. The npc units would have two abilities. If mechs came into range they would gather in the bunker and do damage until destroyed or the mech left range. The troopers would be something a light or med would want to deal with or avoid. A heavy or Assault could literally stamp them out. Trooper units would be more for PET defence and to help defend from flanking. Trooper units would shine when players with pet went into range. Leaving the bunker the npcs would attack Pets/player who would be vulnerable to fast light weapons.

6b. Light Artillery Placement - Mechs could use a consumable to drop a small Artillery placement. They could use it to fire on a AoE use like the current ones BUT they would be able to fire 3-5 times. The AoE damage would be lighter and effective on light stationary targets. The Artillery Placement would be able to take damage and would not have short range defence. It would be another mission/target for fast light/med mechs on the battlefield.

Who would like this? Assaults would have HQs behind them and not left in the dust! Players would have more battlefield strategy and gameplay options. It gives lights more reason to be in Faction and not just a light push. Its a combat style for a fast defensive style of gameplay to go with the light mech aggressive fast style of game play aka scouting and assassination.

Really :( - I think this would be boss! Great for Faction Leader to lead on the battle field.
