Hmm, would we get Civil-War tech new variants like:

UM-R68? What about UM-R70?

UM-R80 has ECM, maybe it would be a new meta Urbie? (which i will like less than the rest actually)

Some new Banshee variants would be really nice. Maybe some classic variants, too (Archer, Warhammer, Rifleman, etc.)

It's specially relevant to IS mechs, which have fixed hardpoints that pretty much everyone knows by now. New variants would spice up old mechs, and I stand by it!

Quote

HBK-4N

The 4N Swayback combines the qualities of the 4H and 4J. First used in 2920 it carried an Autocannon/5, a pair of LRM-5 launchers and two additional medium lasers in the right torso while carrying one ton of reloads for both autocannon and missile launchers in the left torso, making the 4N capable of direct fire and indirect fire support. BV (1.0) = 843, BV (2.0) = 1,087[10]

This sounds like a neat hunchback. 1B + 2M + 2E on the right torso? That sounds fun.

UM-R68 makes the most sense, UM-R69/70 are redundant but UM-R80 would be rockin' (we just ignore that "improved jump jets" thing)... After that though, I'll take a VND-4L please!

How many times has this thread popped up, now?

RFL-6X: gotta go fast
RFL-7M: ECM
RFL-8D: jump jets

I would love to also have the RFL-9T, and it's extra interesting because it makes use of the incoming Stealth Armor, but we aren't getting Light ACs.

WHM-9D: jump-jets

All the other WHM models are either completely redundant or out of timeline.

MAD-5L: energy boat pending inflation, and ECM
MAD-9S: ECM MAD-3R

Really want the MAD-6L, but no plasma rifles. :c

I would like to see some more Stalker variants.

The STK-3Fk, with it's 6 missile hardpoints.
The STK-7D, could give it ER PPC quirks or maybe even targeting computer quirks.
The STK-8S, has a heavy gauss so I don't think it will see the light of day due to the Misery being a thing. Not really sure how to give it a unique niche that sets it apart from the M.

The 8S has no missile slots, but the Misery only has one. Maybe with all the new missile stuff coming in that could be the thing which sets it apart from the rest. MRM-40/UAC-20 schenanigans or something like that.

From my point of view, this is a no brainer: PGI can make money with minimal effort by selling the new variants, and we get more variety. Simply make stand-alone reinforcement packs.
