i started clan warfare recently. my drop deck is limited to 240 tons.

i see many posts on different wights like 260, 265 and was wondering :

is the any way to get a higher tonnage allowance ? can a player get a better/larger allowance ?
and if so please specify - by what means : store , mc or cb ?

It makes invasion all the more off-putting, but hey. I went with the 2x MadIIC, 2x Arctic Cheetah meta build for group play, unfortunately it just doesn't have my KDK5 in it, which makes me sad.

No. Clan and IS have different tonnage limits and they change (both up and down) from time to time. You can buy more drop deck slots (not to add more 'mechs, but to have more easy-to-access drop decks) for MC, but not more tonnage.
