I was wondering if anybody here has access to the The Battle for Twycross soucebook?

I'm need help confirming the list of (c) mechs in that book.


so far I have
SHD- 2H (c)
RFL- 3N (c)
TDR- 5S (c)
ARC- 2R (c)
WHM-- 6R (c)
MAD- 3R (c)


Am I mising any?

How do you mean (C) mechs?

I rather doubt you mean PGI's (C)hampion mechs, since those (technically) do not exist

No I don't mean the Chumpion mechs, In that source book FASA published some second line clan retrofits of old star league mechs. As far as I can tell those 6 were the only ones published, but I want to make sure. Basically this are IS mechs retrofited with (mostly) Clan weapons. I just want to make sure I didn't miss any.

I don't have that book so I cannot say, but I would assume it means something different from the IIC mechs?

Which were old Star League mechs that the clans rebuilt with clan tech (similar definition?)

Though some of them changed weights.
The MAD-IIC gaining 10 tons over the MAD for example.

I have no idea really, but you would probably have better luck asking here

HAve access - need to look - but you are correct
The Clan Second Line Mechs were not "invented" when the book was released so there a "classic" IS Mechs but with ClanTech.
I will look as soon as possible

it seems that the heatsinks nor structure or else was modified. so the RFL still got only 10 SHS

Thx man, you might be right about being in the GD forums ( I didn't think about that ) But this isn't about using those in table top. I'm slowly getting a post/request together to ask PGI to think about adding those mechs to MW:O. I brought this up a few years ago, but back then it was seen as impossible because of the rule of 3. Now that that is gone. I think it could be a good and easy way for PGI to make some extra money with not much extra work involved. I've looked at most of the mechs . None seem like they would be to over power being able to use clan tech, The two big issues I see would be, how to deal with their quirks, and the confusion about their designation because PGI already use's (c) to denote champion mechs. While a few do have Mix tech PGI should just upgrade the IS weapons to clan equals (IS ML's to Clan erML's etc)

Interesting - just looked this up and found out that my printing of The Battle for Twycross soucebook has the chassis and installed clam weapons listed, but does not list what variant each chassis is.
