How to disable / remove the blinking button at the bottom of the window

Someone please answer this. Used to mean that someone was adding me as a friend or someone I knew was contacting me. Now it means some guy just played his first FW match and wonders if it is common that clan rolls IS.

They have always been fascinated with cluttering up the UI with flashing lights and pop ups.

Remember how we LOVED to see the planets under attack pop ups? ya, I don't remember them either. Took a long while to burn them out of my brain.

I've noticed that a lot of people are still asking about the blinking notifications.

Well, brace yourself, because here is how.

Just open up that little settings button at the bottom right corner there, and on the very first window, under Notification settings is "Enable chat notifications"

Bam, all your troubles are gone.

Funny story.
The other day I glanced at the faction chat and someone had this very question.
In the interest of tryng to get this user the answer to help him I wrote several entries in a short period of time. In turn the automatic chat moderation kicked in an I was blocked from chat for 60 seconds.
I chuckled.
