I really wish they (PGI) would fix the Atlas' walk. Not try, but do fix it. Who ever "fixed" it last time, did not test drive it... or have anyone else do that....

Please fix the noble Atlas' walk...

He took an Arrow IV to the knee actuator.

...

But yea, the hitch in the walk is a little annoying. Also, the Nova's one arm agrees and begs for some love too.

Lol that's alot of just sayin. Just sayin.
Also IK is a mythological mountain wreathed in majestic clouds that are wracked by confuscated lightning bolts of cry engine code.

Indeed... isn't even in the 3 month road map... in case anyone was wondering. Sent a Tweet to Russ asking about it, haven't heard back.

I don't think they'll fix it. I think that they'd rather work on making IK work, which would probably include a fix in its own way.

It was in the roadmap under "Looking ahead" alongside Civil War tech and Incursion in FW. Likely to have it in the patch either this month or the next.

It's at the end. That means not the next patch. Or the next.

In days of yore, each mech had the same walking animation speed, no matter how fast they were travelling. When you think about it, it was kind of silly, but it wasn't that easy to notice unless you were really looking for it.

Then, they changed the animation speed to something realistic, so that mech legs actually moved faster the faster you went. Some mechs indeed looked better, but others...

The Awesome, with it's comparatively teeny legs, went from a ponderous, weighted stomp, to a freaking HILARIOUS benny hill cartoon sprint.

The Atlas looks like a drunk person trying their hardest to walk normally on an ether binge.
