Anyone also confused with the Consumables GUI? Pre-Skill Tree, the consumables are shown on the right side in a vertical fashion, labelled with a button. Right now it's a cluster of 5, darkened when empty, and there is no indication of which to push to use said consumable.
Pre-Skill Tree Consumables were just two, and so two buttons are only used. Now we can have up to 5 consumables, and two of the same kind. The consumables should be laid in a vertical fashion once again, accompanied by the key that will activate them.
Aside from that gripe, i don't think we need two separate buttons to activate two of the same consumables individually. It's not like we can accidentally consume the two, there's a cooldown between use. There should be only one button to use, instead of using " ` " and " 1 " (because that's how i set up my consumables), i could only press "1" for my first coolshot, and then "1" again to use my last coolshot.

You can bind keys to use certain consumables rather than deploy consumables from certain slots.
That's what I do, I just have 1 for cool shot, 2 for UAV, and 3 & 4 for strikes.

I don't use all types of consumable at a single mech. Likewise i have to bind different sets of keys for different type of mechs.
For example, im used at 2 for UAV, and then 1 for coolshot. But on certain mechs i take Air Strike instead, bound to 1.
I don't want to go to the options and reconfigure my bound keys whenever i change mechs.

I'd settle for PGI streaming the GUI... period.

I don't use all types of consumables on a mech either, nor do I ever need to change my keys around so much; not sure why you would for any reason.
And you could just bind air strikes to 3 and hit 3 for air strikes on any mech, like I said.
Do you even understand what I meant? I'm not actually sure if you did so I made a little picture.

I understand what you meant. But did you understand what i meant?
On the times i don't use coolshot, i replace it with strike instead. So instead of using 1 for coolshot, i use 1 for air strike.
If i put 3 on Airstrike by default, and other consumables on something by default, that means i have to bother watching the keys i press.
Now if you still don't understand what i mean. Let me put this as simple as i can put it: I don't want your way.

Alright, well good luck requesting your redundant features I guess.

i use the consumable type bindings instead. uav, airstrike, arty and coolshot all have their designated buttons on my throttle. i never got used to the a/b slots when those were implemented and kept my original bindings.
the coolshot is incidentally in the same location as flush coolant is on my mw4 and mwll bindings. but since mwo has richard for targeting controls, the hat switch i used to use for cycling targets became the consumable control. uav is the down position, this is vary intuitive, drop a uav, as in down.
airstrike and arty are on the left and right positions. i always get them mixed up, so i usually just use one of the two strikes and rock the switch back and fourth to deploy. i tend to use arties on more mobile mechs and airstrikes on slower mechs, because its easier to be precise with an arty when you are fast or have jump jets and can aim them down from a high spot. airstrikes work with bigger slower mechs as you dont have to be so precise on the z axis, they are easier to deploy quickly.
