I was in a match yesterday in faction warfare and a large portion of the players where complaining of lag and mechs rubber banding. This Including the guys in my unit on comms. It happened in more than one match as well. So with that said its not on our end with the ISPs. Maybe if one of us was experiencing these issues but not multiple users. i mean 24 people in a match that would be multiple ISPs all having issues. Highly doubt it. Also everyone's ping seemed fine. It was so bad at times it wasn't playable.

With that being said i don't think its PGIs servers

Do you know what level 3 backbone is and how it relates to the impact issues with it will have to people connecting to the NA servers regardless of location in the world or ISP?

Because I don't think you know what level 3 backbone is and how it relates to the impact issues with it will have to people connecting to the NA servers regardless of location in the world or ISP.

I've been having that issue for 6 weeks, not just the last few days.

I am a loooong way from the NA server. I experience any and every problem in the trunk routes between intercontinental servers.

I got sizable lag only when connecting to the NA servers and only the last 3 days. I live in South Africa.

Before that very little to no lag or lag spikes (regardless of server).

I've noticed mouse hesitation just in the Mech Bays. To me, it seems like there is a problem with the base software itself. This would make it obvious why PGI doesn't see anything on their servers if the problem is all/most clients out there.

Meh, I am playing from Mongolia, and I have not experienced any repeated rubberbanding issue. As for lag, it is only natural with my 210 ms ping. All opponents by default have -20% laser duration and +20% projectile speed against me. :P

Everyone has a test environment. Some are lucky enough to have a production environment, too.

If you hear about a Level 3 Internet outage today and haven’t heard this company mentioned before, then you might be wondering how problems involving the Level3 network could take down your access to Yahoo Mail, PSN, Xbox Live, Outlook, BT, Twitch, HBO Go, Craigslist, and other networks/services.
Level 3 Communications is based in America, but provides Internet service via their Tier 1 network to Internet carriers in Europe, Asia, and North America. This is currently effecting a range of services that all use the Level3 network.

I don't want to blame the PSR but this company is Tier 1? Maybe it's time we finally fix the match maker? hahahahhaha.

You never know it could be a Canadian conspiracy to take down the US. Is it a preemptive strike? Are they using asymmetric warfare to disrupt US communication centers before they unleash their giant robot army? Is this what PGI has been doing with all the money they are making off those mech packs?

Lucky u,El.
Dunno what's happening in the last week, but even though my ping is around 100, here in 'Murica I'm seeing lag and rubber, and I'm connecting in NA server only.

yes i know what a level three backbone is. I was mentioning all this because PGI suggested it could be a connection issue with our conection to the ISPs and to call them for troubleshooting. It wound not be something Comcast or some other ISP could troubleshoot with an end user on the phone if its a backbone not managed by them. We have a good connection to them its there connection to some one else. Looks like Gwei Loong posted something relevant to it though.

I have 6 PCs in my house, my kids are playing LOL, Overwatch, and Xbox One and none of them are complaining about Lag issues.
I understand if there is some major issue, but I would expect it to affect the other PCs and Games in my house.

Just had a match, ping consistent.
Hit R on a target, doesn't light until 10 seconds later.
Kill a target and hear the warhorn, still see it walking 3-5 seconds after.

Most of us in the match experienced the same thing.

NA server, on the west coast of US, some were in Canada, south South West US, kinda all over the place.

You SURE it's our providers?!?!? Because most of us (in my unit in that drop) have different ISP's

I decided to not take the chance of getting a laggy match and watched NA streamers first to see if they were having issues.
Yup. They were. I think late night NA hours are the only time for stability and the chance to get any of the event done.

Oh you work for PGI? Glad they are finally communicating with their community!

Do you know when we will have a working FW? What are the future plans for monetization of this game?

played a quick match an hour ago and it was the worst playing rubber banding match I ever encountered. Yeah we won....but wow, what a screwball match!
Oh and I live in the Seattle area. So Close to the North American Servers. My provider says no issues in the local area where I live. So PGI?? WASSUP FOLKS!??

It started today, at the beginning of one quick play match i couldn't even get out of starting position, few steps left or right and im back again. Looks like for now i am limited to EU server. Fix this PGI instead of saying that its on our side. That would be some strange coincidence don't you think ?
