Pretty much all the info you would need, can not say it would be an amazing mech. But as you can see there is room for some viable builds similar to the Dire Wolf (might have better agility stats though). Pretty much the opposite to the Executioner for the 95 ton slot, no speed but all the guns!

Locked standard 285 and no upgrades.

I don't see a reason for this mech when the Mad Cat MKII is on the horizon.

The Turkey is, unfortunately, just a 95-ton Dire Whale with less pod space.

If PGI hadn't given JJ's to the Dire Whale, and if JJ's of that size were actually useful, then the Turkey could've been easier to distinguish from the Whale.

Currently though, that seems unlikely. PGI uses a mech's stock engine as a large part of determining their base agility (which the engine decoupling was supposed to change!), so a mech that is slow stock is going to have very low agility in the new system just like the old system.

The engine is XL, actually, but yeah it's fairly pointless to include it.

Oops, I was thinking about the Kingfisher.

It's a shame we can't nudge the timeline a little further for the Cygnus (3075)

or Hellstar (3079)

Turkina is neat looking, but that locked engine kills it out the gates I'm afraid.
Besides we've got the dire and supernova at 100 and 90 tons. Turkina would offer a similar movement profile of those two, something I'm sure all but the most determined or nostalgia driven pilots would be keen to avoid.

I always that it so odd, how in this game and from btech lore, the premier mechs of clan with all that locked equipment, ends up being inferior to the second line battlemech/IICs.

Quirk it like all the other sub-optimal omnis.

And then make assault jump jets relevant (boost them, make maps like canyon where they are useful, add mobility, crush your enemies)

It could easily be great.

Would rather have the Rifleman IIC and the Warhammer IIC before we get more tonnage fill ins. Preferably the Rifleman IIC first.

Id rather just see the Dire Wolf get a buff to make it viable.

Instead of another jank non-viable omni-assault being added to the game.

No Clan mech is junk. It is not competitive but it can still perform in QP.

By that definition, there are no junk IS mechs either because literally every mech ever added to MWO can get a good QP score when the stars align in its favor. Even the pre-quirk Locust. That's not how you measure whether or not a gundam is good or bad.

Negative. If Turkina had locked IS XL then it definitely would have been junk due to its hitbox. With Clan tech and abundant hardpoints, this mech can perform ok, consistently.

Eh, if i wanted all the guns at that speed, i would have went with a direwolf.

If i wanted all da guns, i want ARES: http://www.sarna.net...res_(BattleMech)

I bet Judoas would throw a fit if this thing got in game, cause it's one less leg than what he would have wanted. :P

I'll support this mech so we finally have a Jade Falcon assault in the game, also would like to see Alex's work on it.

I'd rather have the Kingfisher or Blood Asp.

Even if the KingFisher is basically a lackluster SFE Executioner.
