Basically I think it would be good for the players, good for the game, and good for the developers if we could have a number of camo schemes available. Then we could select each camo scheme for each map, and the game would remember and load that camo for the next map.

From a lore perspective - if you're defending a region, you already know where you're going to be fighting, and your camo suits the terrain. If you're assaulting a region, you know where you're going to be fighting, so your camo suits the terrain.

From a gameplay perspective - as someone who loves his ECM lights, the ability to pre-set my camo scheme would be a nice feature that would help me blend in with the environment. My Titanium white Commando fits in great on a snow map, not so awesome on Terra Therma. Snipers would also see a benefit. The bonus wouldn't be game-breaking, and would add to immersion.

From a developer perspective - you sell more camos! Cha-ching! Man the harpoons, let's go whale hunting!
