Common as Locusts come, "LOLcust" as it was dubbed was nothing more than a joke, or so they thought.

Remembered as one of the craziest Police chases, the Lolcust brought in millions of CBills worth of property damage without the help of the missed shots from the K9 Urbanmechs deployed by the local Police. They were only able to confiscate the mech when fired the Jump-Jets full-force against a wall and got disabled. The pilot was able to run away, but rumors believed that it was piloted by a young girl.

The Jump-Jets jury-rigged upon this locust, and the horrendous performance shown in the news became the best example why Locusts are never equipped with Jump Jets.

Armed with two AMS, with 1 and 1/2 tons of ammunition, it was effective against the small amount of Streak Short-Ranged-Missiles and Long-Ranged Missiles by the police force. Two Small-Lasers on the CT and one at each arm, at a total of four were enough to prompt for the K9 Urbanmechs to take cover, even disable their weapons.

As per usual, this is just an idea, i am not a balancing god. Anyways I noticed that with Locusts, though fast, terrain is it's weakness as well, so how's about Jump Jets? For maximum trolling, 4 AMS slots. It doesn't come with ECM though, so it just breaks MWO just right.

I'm not that scared of giving it 4x AMS, cause really Locust doesn't have that much tonnage for lots of things. Going on 4x AMS + 4t of ammo for sustained LRM cover is already taxing for a 20-tonner, considering that it already takes 6 tons.

Just enough room for 3x small las!

20 tonner has 7.5 tons of feasible space using an XL 180. Any more and you are giving up way too much.

At best, that 3x SL would be just for glancing blows. Otherwise, it doesn't have any good offensive capabilities.

You can still put a standard engine and go 3x ML zombie. Gonna be funny to watch.
