So, you point, PGI never said they were going to be there, are you just trying to stir up ****?
Getting tired of missed opportunities. Unlike you I want them to be successful!

LOL who says I don't want them to be successful, but as usual your over-zealousness for stuff you think PGI should do ruins your message... Where the mad cat II how about ad mad cat II blah blah bah,,, SEE multi-player ruins single player... blah bal blah blah Why did pgi not go to e3 on and on and on.
Maybe PGI likes announcing bug stuff at MechCon when there is a focus on mech games and they are bound to get more attention did your incredibly narrow mind think of that?

Seriously, while MWO is so unoptimized, a supercomputer would struggle with its spaghetti code.

Nope, because maybe they did not have anything new to show, but of course Imperious's idea's are always the best and if PGI does not do them, they will not be successful, I mean what game has ever been successful that was not talked about at E3.

MW5 will probably not be out until 2019, so maybe PGI will be at E3 in 2018. Or GDC in 2018. And then we'll get an interview like this:
"Three main features coming 60 days after launch. 12v12. Gonna be a lot of fun on new maps. UI 2.0 with achievements, completely revamped for launch. And lastly, Community warfare. The feature every fan has wanted since we announced the game. It's coming for launch."
"Virtual dropships with 4 mechs with different load-outs and camouflage that you can choose between when the map has been voted on. Commanders can pre setup where their lances can go."
"Absolutely planning more incentive and rewards for commanders. Maybe even C-bill boosts to commanders and teammates who follow their orders."
What will PGI tell us about MW5? Will it perhaps feature enemy mechs with true, self-aware AI? Procedurally generated planets with billions of NPCs you can interact with? Maybe even extra mech packs you can pre-order for $99? The sky is the limit.

Didn't say they wouldn't be successful. They defiantly missed a good opportunity to show off MW5! Even last years MW5 trailer and talk a bit about it would do wonders. You cant argue that!
As for me believing you don't want them to succeed you still have a super salty sig.
Save it for MechCon? Who are they trying to reach at a convention for nerds who already eat, ****, and breath Battletech?
The point of E3 is to show off you game to people that may not know about it thus creating new fans.
Did you even pass a basic advertisement and economics class?

Would have helped maybe iit would have just been a small blip on what is a huge show.
As far as me being salty, lets just say the honey pot caught another, and the only salty one in this thread is the person who acts like a 5 year old anytime PGI does not meet his unrealistic expectations, in fact I am the one defending PGI, while you are attacking them for something they never hinted they were going to do, so who's salty?

Did you? I have a minor in Fine Arts Management and about half of that degree was in marketing but I digress, if you are such the marketing Genius you would know that the people in attendance are not who the announcements are really/soley for, but that MechCon is a great marketing event when you have Gaming Press essentially all to yourselves (and HBS/Catalyst). Did you see how much coverage the MechWarrior 5 and Battletech announcements got out of mechcon?
But please continue to raise this "concern" You are really helping make sure MW 5 is successful by create a thread that will give people more reasons to take shots at PGI, Great job.

No I am defending them against your unrealistic expectations for something they never said they were going to do and pointing out how ridiculous you get and are at times.

How is showing your new game at the BIGGEST gaming convention an unrealistic expectation?

Going to E3 requires that they have something new and ready to show, and would likely put additional strain on their workload as they'll have to work on an E3 build alongside the actual game.
