I can't think of an alternate explanation. I had about 1000 mc from all the events and such built up over time, and I look at my MC after the last match and had 68! The only mech I was using was using a cbill consumable coolshot.

This might not be the cause, but my account lost several hundred MC with no explanation I can see possible other than that. Maybe the last patch turned them over to MC consumables but without showing it in mechlab?

I've taken off my consumable and put it back on to see if the drain continues. I didn't notice it until about 1000 was missing.

I think it's worth your time (PGI) to look at the transaction history on my account for MC and see what happened.

I wasn't all that salty because I earned it through events and such, but those who purchased it would be much more upset I imagine.

Maybe you won a MC-consumable, installed it and accidentally checked "auto refill"?
Happened to me more than once...

I have NOT seen this kind of behavior from MWO... Please double-check your Mech loadouts, and then also double-check the game files with the Repair Tool. When you use the Repair Tool, make sure NONE of the hidden Options are enabled, that way only needed repairs will happen.

Hey, Draculathehun. I had the same problem but the explanation was pretty much what Kmieciu said. Autofill MC consumable in my FP deck. Not sure if i get you right, but you actually don't need pgi to look into your transaction history. You can take a look at it while logged in:

Thanks for the heads up on how to check it, I didn't know that was an option. Support got back to me very quickly. There's no bug! When I was mech-labbing, I accidentally selected a color I didn't own and bought it.
