Still No 4K Support?

I've owned a 32" 4K for more than 2 years. With my hardware setup I can push this game at max at 60+ FPS. The general game play is nice, which is great!
Yet the UI is still not optimized for high res monitors. Why?! We've been asking for this forever. Why will you not address this issue? Why are you ignoring this?
I have to say, this is ridiculous.

I find that hard to believe.
Pretty much. That, and barely anyone besides the original developers of the engine know how to integrate the engine for games properly.
Please point out the CryEngine 3 games not made by CryTek/EA that run with 4k and aren't buggy messes. https://en.wikipedia...mes#CryEngine_3

It's so old and so improperly maintained that it can't support basic UI scaling?
I find that hard to believe.
It's very believable, actually. First, it took PGI some time before they even got proper HD support and textures. Second. Crytek is notoriously difficult to code. Third. PGI.

it really has nothing to do with the ui and frankly the ui looks pretty good at 4k. buttons and text could be a little bigger though. the problem is getting the game itself to run well at 4k. it knocks me down to 30-40 fps and the game plays like a slide show. maybe something better than a 750ti could run it at 60 but you will still need to drop detail to be competitive. turning off env, particles and aa is a good place to start.
engine argument kind of works because it was designed before 4k became a thing and not optimized for high res screens. it will work but not as good as something designed to handle that res. then it being a competitive game kind of bites you in the buttocks. it does make it a little easier to snipe i suppose, but it will eat your framerate.

Lots of people have better than 750s. We're two full generations, 4 years, beyond the 700 series of cards. My gameplay is perfectly fine at 4K with a 980 gtx (I have 2 but the SLI support in this game is mediocre at best as well). I have particle effects turned down (cause they've always sucked in this game), but other than that, I'm getting a nice 40-60 fps.
The gameplay really isn't what I am talking about though. I'm happy enough in that dept. I am specifically talking about the UI/UX situation, which really isn't good at all.

i think the 750ti was based on maxwell architecture, which is only one generation from the current pascal based chipsets. its still kind of dated but it runs the games i play just fine. i wanted this build to last 3 years and it will have as of this fall. gonna build a new rig and moving up to something that can actually drive this many pixels is definitely a priority.
moore's law is at a snails pace right now and i very much doubt the new rig will perform much better than this one. little more wiggle room on the process size with current gpus than the cpus, but were slowing down fast. 3 year rig is where im aiming. i used to build a new rig every 18 months, but its kind of pointless now.
