I suggest turning off or being able to toggle off what causes your chat button to flash. I would like it to flash when someone has left a unit or personal message for me as well as for incoming invites. Being notified whenever someone has come online or logged out is very obnoxious.

Does anyone else find the constant flashing annoying?

There will always be something more important than what I have suggested. The change isn't related to game balance or software crashes, it's a mere annoyance and I recognize that. However, this forum is for suggestions. So I have suggested this change for the next time the UI is looked into by the DEVs. They have lumped small changes along these lines with other updates before. There's no reason not to suggest it and have the idea out there.

Fully support this suggestion. No, you're not the only one who finds this a tad irritating. I don't want to be notified every time someone leaves or enters chat. I would at least like some more granular options.

True, but they don't exclude the other things that need work as well.

I don't care if people in my faction are chatting. Please god make the chat button stop flashing for stupid stuff. By the button flashing ALL THE TIME I ignore it ALL THE TIME. So I miss Actual messages I want to see.

Guys, go to your options menu, and disable the "Faction Chat".

And if you think it's offensive to assume your gender, I'm an Apache Helicopter in an Urbanmech. Your argument is invalid.
