Invisible walls. Something that every mech warrior has experienced. However, I think I experienced the worst case of it I have ever experienced today. Yeah I am a little salty about it, but this was just a little ridiculous.
(notes about the video....before you say "the person I'm targeting is getting hit so you are hitting them...no. I am targeting a Timberwolf and shooting at an Arctic Cheetah. They have ECM and I am out of range to target them. However, I should be seeing the aiming reticle go red upon hitting and it doesn't. Secondly, the ERPPCs are well within range. They have an optimum range of over 900M with how I have it setup.)
I really hope this finds it's way to someone who can check these out in PGI. Cause while I do understand they are out there and unavoidable some times...a whole upper half of a mech exposed and cant hit it is a bit much.

The forcefields of HPGs "buildings" have eaten more shots than I can count.

Invisible walls and shrubbery blocking gaussballs and AC20s. It's almost PvE, innit?

One of the most annoying things to encounter in the game. I too have seen this a few times on Polar and Alpine. Those icy levels really take the buiscuit.

When I took my first hiatus from the game it was in the form of a 6month break for the exact reason of invisible walls.
I was playing a CW match with my unit at the time and I was in my ppc stalker, getting poked by a thunderbolt on a ridge. I fired all 4 ppc shots and they clipped the terrain all while he continued firing from the same position without moving and hitting me.
I broke my first mouse and I uninstalled the game.

From longer distance, the terrain doesnt render corretly.
Seems Alpine in particular is full of these mountains where their shape changes as you get close, and this is with very high enviroment settings.

Also, it seems ppcs are the worst offenders here. the ppc ball itself seems to be huge, when nearing terrain, yet can happily shoot between a lights legs.
