Right now, it feels like someone stuck a camera infront of the pilot or some magic numbers just floating in mid air.
Compare this to the cockpit of MW5... and you get more of a rounded feel from a helmet pod.

(Yea, my topics are getting thin)

Addendum: Another thing that makes the feel unnatural...
Unless your head is BOLTED to your backseat, it doesn't make sense to NOT have a desync between your helmet and the cockpit. Like, you can still create a bounce effect after getting rocked by ballistic, but there should be a difference between what's on the cockpit window and your neuro helm, no? (also, it's a good chance to resolve the unnatural lockdown from blinding enemy fire. since, those are not impacting your neurohelm cam, but the cockpit window. Why you should suffer so much glare is beyond understanding. Fix that, and another problem solved.)
Also, consider this, since the mechbody is not moving as fast as your head bouncing around. And since your target reticule is on your neuro-helmet...
IS THAT NOT THE SOLUTION OF PINPOINT REFLEX BATTLE THAT SOME PEOPLE HATE???? There's an obvious mechanical limitation from the gyration of the mech vs how fast you can move your aim-er. I haven't worked out the detail, but I'm sure there's a solution to this whole "pinpoint" and "convergence" problem somewhere in this dissociation.
