I was toying around with loadouts on the K9, at some point I stripped the thing including cockpit items, and now the siren is gone. How do I get it back? Or is that a bug? Help!

Are you sure the siren isn't a built in like on heavy metal ? There's no warhorn included when you buy the thing. Just go into testing grounds and kill something. I'm sure it will trigger just as HM's does. This will make it a second mech that you can put the april fool's horn onto... so you have a triggering when you kill something AND when you die.

My K9 never plays its Siren and it never flashes its lights. I can press the key for cockpit lights "L" and again nothing happens. Tried it with a warhorn and without a warhorn.

I'm having the same issue, You can remove the lights by selecting remove cockpit items, but there doesn't seem to be any way of putting them back on.

Solution was found here, thanks to Monkey Lover. It's "AddOn Toggle" under "Misc", not cockpit light.

Ced Riggs is correct:

It is not bound to the cockpit lights button, but the add on toggle button. For me that key was not bound to anything, as soon as I set it I was able to start 'enhancing' my teammates battlefield experience.

No, that's not even the issue. The lights are gone, they're not even displayed on the mech or in the cockpit anymore. if you strip the mech, and select "strip all cockpit items", they're gone and you can't get them back. This has nothing to do with keybinds.

The K9 siren items are tied into the Cockpit Item system, and they're being removed erroneously when running the Strip All Cockpit Items command. We have a permanent fix for this that is slated for inclusion in a hot-fix (no ETA just yet), but in the meantime our database system will be fixing cases of stripped K9 items per-account as they arise. You'll see those lights return when the db fixes your 'Mech.

Thanks for the update, I'll just sit back and let criminals get away until my siren is repaired.
