I think you are forgetting that Assault primarily got played as skirmish anyways Posted Image

And that is why I have never ever heard of anybody being banned for "disappearing" while being the last survivor on the enemy team on a Skirmish drop.

Damn. With people like you it's no wonder PGI gets away with all those terrible game modes they produce. Isn't a game mode supposed to make you not want to "Quit match" to have fun if you are still alive?

I've killed 4 while being the last mech alive. I'd like to claim skill, but luck had a big part to play in it.

If someone is wasting everyone's time by shutting down or something, report them.
In my experience it happens very rarely.

Yeah, Skirmish should have anti-starvation-tactic mechanics, as any other mode. And I've already suggested my solution - engage timer. Every team should have it. Initially it should be 15 minutes and should count down, if no 'Mechs from this team are engaged with enemies (mechanic is already in game - we have Domination now, so no excuses). With every death - timer should be reset to <'Mechs alive> * 75 seconds. I.e. last 'Mech standing will have 75 seconds to engage. Once this time runs out - team automatically loses.
