One of the old sci-fi movies known as Them was a giant ant movie. Could you imagine one done today. A good plot, mystery creature, some jokes, and todays tech along the lines of Them.

they seem to mess up remakes
for some reason they don't understand the concept of science fiction

The way you make it sound, I think it should be called sci Futility to Inspect(for good material).
