[Audacious Aubergine]

In my case, the extended deadline is after the initial Civil War patch, meaning it'll give me time to see if the new tech is any good before I see how many new guns I can put onto a Nightstar

What do you want with premium time? I still got over a year running, and never bought it on its own. Everyone who is bitching about the premium time never bought much in the first place

Yep, I used to buy these packs all the time, but I haven't bought any since they removed the best reason to buy them. I used to buy the packs for the premium time and the 6.5 million C-Bills. The offer used to be too good to pass up - now it is quite easy. Although, I am saving lots of money now. My wife thanks you PGI!

Its about the reduction in value.

Also, i have never purchased premium time either and used the monthly mechpachs like a voluntary subscription; every month i dropped $20 on the game and got 3 mechs and 30 premium time, so cutting part of that means the way i operate will change.

There is nothing wrong with buying a crap ton of mechs all at once if you can afford it, but not everyone could and therefore can't stockpile banked PT in doing so.

So please don't assume everyone is operating the same as you.

2. Medallions are better than banked premium in long term.

Actually not unless your a very very bad player that plays less than an hour a day

Because to get the X.P bonuses at 5% you need to spend $80 to get the 10% bonuses you have to spend $140 if your buying clan.

With which you get 60 days premium.

if you can only afford or want the standard packs, you get neither, premium time or X.P medalions

Basically P.G.I are unfairly penalising people that are on low incomes, whom are now far less likely to support the game with hard currency, without the premium time attached.

I dunno if they are unfairly penalizing, but I would be curious if the decision has a negative impact on sales...

Unfairly penalizing... Well, for me 25$ is three days of work. I just live in poor country :-) Even if it international image is good, I still live in poor country. So, one month more for early adopters and I deciced to make an order :-) Month before I wasn't ready for that.

Yea, this is quite concerning, upsetting, and disappointing they couldn't even say hey we gave something else planned for the countdown or we are not able to do one this month ect. Not saying they had to. Just saying could have told us so we don't break our F5 key all week.
