I don't know how long this message will be up. I don't know if I'm violating forum rules, and if I am, I'm truly sorry as it is not my intent to do so.

Starting in February of this year, my body has gone through some major changes. Since then, I have lost well over 50 pounds, been to the Emergency Room 13 times (as of writing this), have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, the doctors have found spots on my brain, and I now have an underactive thyroid gland. Docs suspect MS in addition and more is just piling up. I am also having problems with my heart and am getting ready to see a Cardio specialist. I'll soon be wearing a 48 hour heart monitor to see what's going on.

Any amount of stress causes my symptoms to flare, so I am unable to participate in this highly competitive game. What's more, my energy drains fast and I am in the process of disbanding my small unit.

I have no prescription insurance, just medicare and bills are piling up. The short and sweet is that I need your help. I have set up a gofundme page Link and this is totally legit. I keep it updated as much as possible. I'll now be focusing my efforts on creating a support group and website for those who are affected by chronic illness. I've come to the cold hard truth that people are the most important thing in this life, and for me, waking up each day I count as a blessing. If I can be a blessing to someone else some way, then I'll count that day as a successful one.

If you folks could pass this around, maybe to your friends or whatever, I would be be most appreciative. At most, prayer would be greatly appreciated.

I know that a lot of us get really competitive and that a lot of us get into the lore of the game and such, but I know that just about all of us are real and caring human beings and so here am I reaching out to you.

Moderators/admins, if I have broken any rules by posting this here, I sincerely apologize. This was not my intent. I'm facing a real life or death situation and am looking for help where ever I can. I thought that the community I've been a part of for quite a while would be a good place to start.

I wish you the best of luck, and with it may you find your Strength again. If you recover enough to play, we will be waiting for you. Meanwhile, rest, and may your doctors have the tools that they need to make you better.
