So I have purchased the PAKHET and recently sold the left and right arm Omnipods for a boost of Cbills as I needed to build a Mech for MRBC. Unknowingly I cannot purchase them back. Now I understand that you shouldn't be able to purchase hero Omnipods for Cbills in general but I do think however that you should be able to do it specifically for the Hero Mech itself. We should be able to purchase these Omnipods when in the Omnipod part of the Mechlab but only when editing the loadout of the Hero Mech in question AND only able to equip those Omnipods on the Hero Mech itself.

I'd rather they just make them unable to be sold, less chance of mistakes being made.

If anything, allow you to repurchase the omni pods that you sold, even if you can only still have one of each. I do like the idea that if you own the hero mech, it opens up those omni pods to purchase. Might actually get me to buy that Purifier that I've sat on the fence for since its release.

Yup made the mistake of selling them.. Had then just sitting in the inventory for a bit as did not want to sell them as though I might loss them.. One day came along and I went and sold one just to look see and looked at the meck it looked like I could by it back looked like I must not have looked hard enough and went ok well I can buy them back so sold the lot of them went to build on a hero I have and the Omni parts are now gone and I cant rebuy them kind of sucks as I just sold 8 parts I can no longer buy back... If you own the mech you should be able to buy the part..

Put in support ticket when you have the cbills, ask PGI nicely.

Yup put in a ticket and asked them nicely and they gave me my parts back.. Had to pay back the c-bills I got for them but got them back none the less...

Being able to purchase back as many omnipods as Hero mechs you have makes sense, maybe even for Cbills instead of MC.

Not being able to sell Hero omnipods instead, also makes sense, but doesn't solve the problem for those who already did.

Being able to purchase as many Hero omnipods as you want, for MC, at least only as long as you own the Hero mech (and haven't resold it...), would provide a boost in MC sales. Unless those Hero omnipods are meant to be pay to win exclusives or something.

I can see being able to pay for extra Clan Hero omnipods in MC.. why not charge the Hero Omnipod, 1/4 the price of MC for the value of said Clan Hero mech, once you bought the Hero mech?..

Then once you sell the last copy of that Hero Mech from your account, all the Omnipods associated with it go automatically too, even if they were equipped onto other non-hero mechs..
ie. I have two Dire-UVs, if I strip one down to just the center torso & sell it, I keep the omnipods as long as I have the other UV.. if I sell my last UV, all omnipods dissappear with it..

I'm not sure that's a fair trade for being able to buy more Hero Omnipods outside of that Hero Mech.

Or, maybe restart the old mechanic that used to unlock mech mastery, for just Hero Omni Mechs though.. buy Three of the Hero Variants of the same Omni Mech, unlock the ability to purchase their Omnipods for MC..
This might be a good feature for presenting Inner-Sphere Omni-Mechs too, just for fair game?
