I wanted to propose that a community set a number of Comp Nights to populate the Comp Queue. Right now [R79T] is looking at doing Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights at 10pm EDT.
If you have a team post what nights work best for you. You can also hit-up this straw poll.

Talking to a few people / teams the last 24hrs, it seems no-one really cares
So many were so badly burnt by the (dis)organisation of MWO 2016 and now this "comp mode" with a dozen flaws is dropped on everyone and they are expected to use it to qualify...
It should not be up to the community to run the event for PGI, even if they had to basically do it in 2016.
Nothing was learnt from that experience sadly.
54MR has 2-3 comp teams we could field, zero interest at this stage.

Its a great idea to organize these kind of "fight-nights"! I support that!
We 19th Strikers are going to Drop mondays and thursdays. We just might need another week to complete our team.

Dudesclub has its main emphasis on Monday and Thursday European timezone.
We are looking for serious matches twice a week (in opposite of fooling around in group queue) without any organizational efforts. This mode could be perfect for such a thing, given participation of the player base.
World championship... who cares

At best, you could ask for "scrims" in this mode... but seriously this isn't the optimal method of doing it either.

My unit is looking forward to the next season of MRBC We see little reason to play the comp mode. We tried once and no one was there on the release day. We see little reason to put any work into it.

From what I gather, many of the comp teams and players are taking a bit of a break as the patch kicked in at the end of the latest MRBC season. I am sure there will be more teams forming and kicking into comp queue in the coming weeks.

Designating a day to be on will allow those who are interested to find other people to play.
I think this is a good idea.
Honestly, if you aren't interested you don't have to tell those of us who are.
