Anyone have luck with this mech?

Years ago I got a bunch of the Hero bundles, including the Banshee.

I'm running an AC 10, 3 LPLs, and 1 ML.

XL engine with AMS, and lots of armor.


I feel like I have some decent games, but also really crappy ones.

I am a bad pilot, and have room to improve no matter the mech I pilot, but am just curious what others think.

Is the La Malinche just bad?

Its not that good. Pre skill tree I determined that it actually had quite a bit of DPS, but the hardpoints are all over the place, including 2 very low arm mounts, so if you try to hill hump with it... you are gonna have a bad time.

I've found its most effective while pushing or flanking. If you have to poke/trade, forget it.

I think it's considered pretty bad. Banshees got nerfed and power creeped away. I have two banshees sitting in my garage, whose parts I stripped out for my Battlemaster.
