Folks,
I am having a somewhat unusual problem. I just moved out of my old home for the last two years, and now I am experiencing a problem where the game has me infinitely stuck in "searching" without finding a game. I am confident that this is not a result of my choice of chassis because I have yet to be able to join a single game, and my wait times have been upwards of 15 minutes with every weight class before I give up.
I have tried to join faction matches as well with the result that the game kicks me out to the menu after some searching.
Another odd symptom is that I am unable to see my own chat messages in faction/unit/clan chat logs although other people are responding to what I say.
I am reasonably confident that this isn't an IP permissions issue: the issue has occurred with multiple sources of internet some of which (e.g. public networks) that I have used in the past without issue.
At this point I am lost with no ideas.

I just began a search for a pickup game at 2211 Eastern Daylight time. It is now 2242 Eastern Daylight time and I have not interrupted my PC. It still says "searching". Now only my unit chat is visible in chat channels.

Try clearing your dns cache
open an command prompt as admin and type
ipconfig /flushdns
Press enter and try it again.

No improvement. I am still stuck endlessly "searching". I even tried using mobile internet which has previously allowed me to join games without any issues.

When you connected to your new network, windows may have asked if you are connecting to a "Work", "Home" or "Public" network.
Did you chose Home network.
In Control Panel>Network and Sharing Center
Check under "View Active Networks" that your network aka Network X is a "Home Network"
Only two other things I can think of right now is
1) Make a new fire wall rule for MWOClient.exe
Control Panel>Windows Firewall
Then click "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall.
2) Last thing is, if you have a new connection you may have a new router. Make sure NAT is switched on.
Also don't forget to try pgi support.

Clearing your game cache folder sometimes help with random MWO glitches.
delete everything in this folder
C:\Users\PCNAME\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\Shaders
