Jumpships are massive interstellar transport crafts capable of moving up to thirty light-years instantaneously. Jumpship production has been lost to the Inner Sphere since the fall of the Star League and as such are extremely limited. No faction would be foolish enough to position their Jumpships near a battlefield and instead use dropship to deploy their troops to a planet's surface.

LRMs can be launched in large bursts at targets far out of view. Friendly targets provide data to those with LRMs to fire at them while far out of sight. LRMs can be launched directly or indirectly.
