I'm disappointed that PGI couldn't even tweak the energy beam colours for the newer laser weapons. This seems like a wasted opportunity to me after such a long gap between new tech. From a gameplay perspective, I'm sure the missing colours of the rainbow would be a welcome addition for both visual appeal and tactical information.

Beyond that, some of the gun-shy decisions PGI have made to avoid power creep are again, disappointing. I'd go into them at length, but reading the feedback thus far, I'm certain my main concerns have been covered.

Please take the feedback and make the second pass for the Civil War update better and more inspired.

i think this is more about mechanics and balance test than effects. art department is likely putting on a few fresh coats of paint as we speak. would be nice if pgi would confirm this, it would put a lot of minds at ease. i dont like that the new lasers look too similar to existing lasers, i think that needs a change.
