okay.. i saw a cicada come around a corner without any of the hud details that designate it as a friendly, so i instinctively shot it. but i shouldn't have because he was my buddy. he had stealth armor active.
Should stealth armor be effective against your teammates? in a 12v12 match, in the heat of battle, i think there could be alot of accidental team damage/team kills happening.

That may have been me! When I ran stealth armor on my cicada, I noticed I lost all info on friendly mech position on my mini map. The blue doritos above the actual friendly mechs remained, thankfully. It seems targeting info when in stealth need some work

I think that's not a bug, but a feature, in PGI's mind. The point of the stealth system is. Complete. Stealth.
Balance may call for another take, however.

Correct targeting info (friendlies with no dorrito) has been an issue in the past, so I am inclined to put this in the "bug" department

It should be at least highlighted on hud friendly stealth target or whatever, but I knew a teammate was stealth when I played a few games ago. This also just might support communication on teams "hey team, I'm going stealth, I'm in a 'yadda yadda 66'"

Mechlab Problem... The stealth armor takes certain slots and always the same. The armor slots do not swap around like they do for FF and LFF. Intended?

If IFF can't identify it as a friendly, I expect to get paid for shooting it.
