Rotaries Completely Broken?

I just tried the Rotary cannons and....

Even with lots of face time, just banging the Rotary in their faces I only got 100 dmg (in 2 games). With 2 AC2 I would have done more damage, for less tonnage and more range.

Also the heat is broken if you use more then one.
