Enemy yet. All of us were in G5 I believe and forming into another position.
Over the comms comes this guy. " OH GREAT! G5? REALLY? YOU EFFING IDIOTS!!
F ALL OF YOU!!! YOU Peices OF TRASH!!! F U F U F U!!!!! DUMB EFFERS!!"
.....COMMS go silent for a minute. Then half of us start bursting out into laughing
Especially me. "Is this guy for real?"
I get mad sometimes but not like that. It's not the first time that's happened but
Jesus Christ. I really hope his Computer gets a virus and dies. Lol we don't need
Pilots like that.
Anyways. Let's hear some stories!!!!

One of the survivors, a damaged Adder with SRM's and pulse, was very upset with the team mates that hung back. Without a word he flipped out and rounded back to the sniping / LRM mechs and started blowing their legs off, one leg each, and moving on. It was both one of the most surreal and gratifying moments I've seen on a stream.

they ended up shooting each other and constant yells to report for griefing and team killing were announced. One guy had the decency to say "Hey keep COMs clear so we can effectively fight" but it was a loss due to 3 mechs basically killing each other.
I wasnt in visual range of this debacle so i cant confirm what actually happened but it was a very sad and sorry display to be sure.

The urbie flashed his lights again, so the Mad started chasing him around shooting while the urbie dodged around spamming his siren. Was funny

The first one is about a Raven 3L pilot that tried to face tank my Dire Wolf... After I butchered him, he then went to global chat to call me a cheater, hacker and what ever else.... that was until I spoke up, with "You tired to face tank my Dire Wolf... I have more tons in guns than your mech weighs... Hell my armour weighs 2/3rds of what your mech does!" he got real quite after that.
The other was using my Locust Pirate's Bane on HPG, the match had become a case of 11:8 on the score board, I was the last one left, so I hid under a ramp and took out legs with my four MLas, in the end we still lost, but I made them work hard, curse in global chat for the last 6 minuets of the game as I brought it up to 11:11 as the clock ran down to nothing... At least my team wasn't giving away my position...

3 straight games on HPG, two times the team ignores the top and get stomped and the last one 2/3 lances go chasing a LRM heavy and once again forfeit the high ground and get stomped. The high ground is important ffs.
Then I had a friendly phoenix hawk dump his lasers into my back at the start of another game, and then proceed to blame me for it. So after returning the favor with a pair of LB10s he decides to stand right behind me all game and do **** all.
Could I of handled that better? Sure. If he had said sorry like most other people I would't of shot him back. But he didn't.

Funny, in an random match I was on Mr. Kendrick's team and I consider that an honor.

That said, I don't think I'm a very friendly person in this game.

Generally, I just type out a response to provoke or irritate someone I find is taking the game far, far too seriously. I mean - I get being frustrated when you're facing an avoidable loss because of potentially decent players acting stupid... but the people who seem to get the most frustrated about it act like they're the best players ever. They should always win and the only reason they ever lose or do poorly is because the rest of the team sucks.
Those are the people I enjoy quipping at and pissing off.
Then, when they get really upset... there's the end-all phrase to piss every competitive player off: "When the game is no longer fun, it's time to turn it off and do something else."
Anyway ... can't say I've ever had anything as entertaining as what has already been talked about. Just the usual stuff where someone decides to Leeroy Jenkins into the enemy and ***** at the team for hanging back while we are obviously talking to try and work out something resembling a plan.
I mean - I've just rushed ahead and tried to provoke something because I was getting impatient... and was a little frustrated that the team was being completely apprehensive... but it's not the team's fault I died, and it's not their fault for not getting aggressive with me. I usually try to be a team player and to find the role that's missing to fill it (within the capacity of my 'mech, obviously) - but I will occasionally drop with a derp build or just play to try something different and to hell with win/loss.

Haven Kendrick?
I'd drop with that guy any day.. Even getting stomped is fun when he's drop commanding..
I'd smoke that guy a kipper so he's back for breakfast..
Its incredible that one man can give players more immersion and fun than this whole game has to offer..

Heck, I've been alpha'd no less than 4 times since then just because I was/am a LRM heavy Gyr..... (they're my points you worthless, hiding, no skilled coward...)
I must admit, I reached a point pre-skill tree change where I would ask before we dropped "is there any plan?" If the experienced players started to lecture me or get negatively vocal, I simply went sight seeing on the map (LRM boats can do that!).... I know, that was wrong, but I just couldn't take the never ending abuse. I am a retired field grade Armor officer for Christ sake..........let's talk about 70 tons of real steel.
A funny story, in which an expereinced T2 player was screaming to have me reported for suiciding, on Polar, as an LRM heavy Gyr, the enemy was on the other side of a ravine system and we were, yet again, being lectured about not being aggressive (expletives deleted)...... So, I commed "follow me" and went headlong into the enemy............ Of course, after the first 5 seconds of "what the...." I was destroyed and then, for the next 8 minutes was called every name in the book......... My Grandson and his friends were watching on the HD television as they sometimes do........ Ooops.......
Thank God, they were <12. Although, they are still asking questions about what was said....... I'll never live this down.
MWO is now banned from the HD TV...........

King Crab with LRMs, Polar Highlands. All voice chat, made a few comments about us holding locks for him early. No problem. Made more comments about how we weren't getting locks once the initial long range stuff kicked in. Began making shorter and louder exclamations as things started going south.
Enemy lights flanked what was left of the team. KC eats a lot of LRMs. He's ranting about how much we suck. Turns his back to the enemy to fire his LRMs at an ACH that was tearing him up from behind. Minimum range, right? But the next enemy LRM salvos cored him through his back.
I'm not even sure what words he used, he was that bent out of shape. Style points for being incoherent! I rarely witness a real life argleblargle, made it so memorable.
Few days later, someone is ragging on the team right off the drop ships. It's him again. But not in the same mech, whew.

About two minutes into the match we're exchanging fire with the enemy, everyone is spread out in cover and I interrupt him over coms to ask him to please stop spamming chat about the skill tree during a match and that our team needs to organize. It's too late though because within two seconds the enemy is murder balling on our left, we are spread out. The drunk guy calls a random coordinate none of us are close to even though we're already engaged and immediately starts yelling over coms how we're all idiots and the worst team and can't even follow a basic plan. Literally four seconds prior he wouldn't shut up about how much he hates the skill tree.
