From the available mechs I'd go with,
Light: Mongoose, one of the best light mechs even with later designs available
Medium: Clint, offers some different options at 40t
Heavy: Ostsol, unique look, shield arms could make it a great brawler for a 60t
Assault: Charger, New playstyle for an 80 tonner, numerous build options filling various roles.
