Where are the famous light mechs that someone said would be in the new Battletech game? If they will be in that game that means they will be in this game to I think.
Both these questions are about the details of for sure updates/mechs/features.
Anyone know the answers?

Also something about the Pirahna like "Yes we are working on it but we don't because we have some thing else and that is Solaris" and then see above.
Frankly I am more confused after the last TownHall then anything.

So i'd actually like to see it released as a separate title on UE4 with all the things that make solaris great and not just a new mode shoehorned into MWO.

What makes you think they'd move from the Crytek engine to the UE4 engine? Does PGI have fat stacks of cash sitting around so that they can afford to licence the game on that engine? Do they even have any experience with UE4?

No, no, no please not this.
Check it out,
It can be added to the current game as just another mode where the ONLY difference is its 1v1 and has its own leader board.
It wont detract from the current population cause its only 1v1 and part of the same game.
see... your happy if you get the 12v12 you wanted in to or your happy your in the 1v1 game you wanted...
were all happy, wooohooo !!
ps
yeah right

That is news to me. Thanks.
Did you know MW:5 will be single player focused with VR support? That's what PGI has claimed, and let me say something about VR support - it would require a HOTAS joystick setup, since you cannot see your mouse and keyboard while playing in VR. (And Aiming with the mouse will be impossible)
So, out of those two lies which one will become true? Singleplayer? VR Support? Both? Who knows? PGI is a small development team with a track record of being really hazy when it comes to specifics before release.

I hadn't seen much about VR support (or thought about it, honestly), but it's been listed as single player the entire time, so....?

So, if the OP thinks Solaris will be an extension of MW:5, that game will be nothing like Mechwarrior Online, shattering our naive predilections.

Think of it. PGI needs to gather experiance with the Unreal Engine for MW5:M, so why not create a seperate gamemode AKA Solaris to figure out the in and outs of the engine and cash in some money for the development of MW5:M?
Sounds like a plan to me.
As for VR-Support and other stuff this is the official page: http://www.mw5mercs.com/
I don't read anything about VR on it.

Yes they say they are working on an unannounced feature but have not officially said what it was I think.
