I was so excited to hear about a ranking system in MWO, but where is the solo rank?
Every single E-Sports/competitive game ranks each player individually. You need to be shown where you stand as a player, not as a group. I'm glad PGI is at least starting to consider rank, but they need a system that shows you where you are at. This is how all competitive games do it and is a great way for serious teams to scout out players. You can't get an accurate reading on your skills if you have 7 other people mudding up the score (or lifting you up). We are going in the right direction, but the system needs to rank everyone who plays, not just those who want to dedicate to a team. A solo ranked system can also bring people to play more seriously and can even make them consider getting much more involved in the game and community. It would be amazing to have a ranked quickplay at the very least.

There is no Solo Ranked system at the moment. But if you watch the video of the last Townhall, Pgi is currently thinking about way to make Solaris work.

I'd pay for a Solaris expansion. I paid to play a lot of expansions in many different games. What does PGI want to charge for it 20$? Because if that's what they want to charge for an expansion with new maps, new modes, 1 vs 1 and a solo ranked leader board then I'd buy it.

So would I and many others im sure if they just gave us some sort of plan / timetable. A bit more discussion in another roundtable over a more proper thought out Solaris plan would be welcome. I had no previous interest with "Solaris" before but hearing about 1 v 1`s, 2 v 2`s, FFA`s etc... with new maps and stuff? Hell yes! Destruction MechDerby!!!
