No need to waste skills on heat, Add in two cool shots(mostly for the JJ heat or hot maps) , You can stay under stealth the whole game. Fire all you want. Drop some arty strikes, uavs, spot for lrms.

This is the Age of the Ninja Sniper!

He's trying to avoid heat, because the stealth armor limits heat dissipation.

Mmm, somewhat concerning and somewhat cool. The idea of a heavy lightmech sniping meta scares me, but this is a classy sort of build that is hard to hate.

Plus all those ninja snipers that die to FF will more than make up for their frustrating sneakiness Posted Image

That stealth armor is dangerous. We, my team, had such a hard time trying to find and kill a locust that was just running in and out of cover, and he was right in front of us.

I'm surprised how much more difficult it was to track the target without sensors picking him up.

I tried it with a single snubnose ppc. I was generating heat while the armor was on in terra therma.

Interesting build, but with only 8 DMG it sure ain't a killer. Besides, the Stealth armor not only shields you from enemy sensors but also your own team, so friendly fire is gonna be a big problem.

Hmm... so what does a mech with working Stealth Armor look like in thermal vision? Regular mechs tend to show as bright white against dark backgrounds (in relatively cool maps anyway) which is great for fighting in places like HPG Station or Mining Collectve.

Same intensity as environment.

A Spider on HPG is basically invisible.

Ahhh the GHILLIE doesn't have a hand actuator.

You can run a real gauss rifle with stealth armor on it Posted Image Hmmmmmmm

There isn't one on the test server but coming soon anyone with this hero can have some fun!

I take it back !

Age of the GHILLIE is here!

Interesting, though at 8 damage I doubt game breaking.

Another candidate might be the CDA-3M, with XL280 looks like you can squeeze 4 tons (80 rounds) of ammo in. I'm going to give this one a try.

(Ps. Is there bug that the ammo amount skill nodes don't work for light gauss? Seems like it to me.)

You can fit a normal Gauss in there easily.

I just fear QP might turn into this;

The last thing my assault mechs want to see (or not see Posted Image ) is wave after wave of backlippin ninjas.

there is a weakness to the stealth armor that i am sure some of the more seasoned players have figured out. One of the things i noticed is it does not allow heat to dissipate while engaged and another mech with flamers could put said scout in a serious bind to the point of detonating from heat.
