I added stealth armor on a phoenix hawk, but its telling me I have a crit error but its not telling me what the error is, or what I need to change to fix it.

It takes up crits in very specific locations rather than being free floating like Endo or FF.

From Sarna under Game Rules:

BattleMech Stealth Armor provides as much protection as standard armor. It takes up two critical slots in each arm, leg, and side torso. To work, it also requires the 'Mech to carry a Guardian ECM Suite

they don't move like Endo and Ferro but are locked into specific places.

It shows two armor slots in the arms, legs, and side torsos. Does it take a head or CT slot as well?

No, but chances are you may want to remove some equipment from the arms, legs and side torsos. MWO is known for a bug that lets you increase the "slot" count to an illegal number. Instead of X slots, it might be X+2 slots which could be why it refuses to let you save the build. Especially if the limb is 'full'.

No, the PTS broke dynamic slots, sometimes it lets you add Endo, Ferro, etc when you actually don't have enough room for them. You have negative slots remaining, you'll have to remove some equipment.

I mean, I once put 3 UAC/5s on a side torso with an XL engine... you can't even do that with 2 UAC/5s and an XL engine.

It's that sort of bug. Take things out of the feet if there's more than the stealth armor there (it might be your problem right there) and something out of any full ST or Arm.

You will need to remove one of the JJ in the RT.

You have only 12 slots of Endo so you need to remove 2 slots worth of stuff. This is a known bug with pts.

yes i've posted a bug report.. stealth armor is not correctly updating the slot count and this can cause loadout errors..

There are 2 things u have to do to workaround it..

1)) when u add stealth armor you need 2 slots each in arms legs and side torsos open..

2)) Add 12 to your slot count displayed in the mech stats window to get your actual slot total.. until its fixed u need to do some math..
