I just watched a video where someone had 10 Heavy Large Lasers on a Dire Wolf.
When he fired, his arm Lasers shot the target, the torso Lasers shot off at an angle to his right.

Maybe it's feature, IDK. With what PGI has presented so far, and the apparent direction, its not hard to believe that its a bug that would get into implementation.
