TBH I wouldn't be surprised if it's PGI fault as much as AMD just ****** up their own drivers yet again.
From time to time over the years I've been using their GPU's. And from many different brands and types of graphic cards (nvidia, amd whatever), only pieces of hardware that were giving me any problems were always Radeon's. Hardware is fine.
In fact I think it's even more ingenious than whatever nvidia can come with. But AMD cannot for the life of theirs wrap their heads around proper driver solutions. Murphy's law should have new entry because of AMD.
To summerise. You have two options, both with slim chance of success (read it : non existing chance) :
- Either petition to PGI to check it on their end.
- Contact AMD tech support/write about it on their forums to do something about it next revision of their drivers.
BTW you didn't specify in bigger detail what's the problem.

When I changed from the old download over to the Steam version I began getting the 'RX480 not supported' prompt. It doesn't affect performance so it's just mildly annoying as an unneeded extra button press before getting in-game. I suspect it's either some sort of oversight or the Steam version doesn't like the non-WHQL drivers I'm using.
