Just got a "Cockpit Items: Duct Tape Hanging" prize in a loot bag, and when I went to equip it... no item.

I looked around a bit, and found a new (never had either item before) Duct Tape standing item in that category.

I don't mind the standing item, I've got several Urbies , but I hope one label or another gets fixed going forward.

That's a hanging item. Check your other categories and check the owned circle and it should appear.

And upon further review I might've derped a bit. Yeah weird. Double check and make sure and provide some screenshots next time for us trying to help you after a very hot day at work

The event page is chock full of typos and errors. Pretty much every set of rewards has at least one or two.

I've experienced the same thing as OP, so yeah... there's errors

When you open a loot bag the reward is not immediately injected to your account. Maybe this is what happened?

Oh, is that what happened? I just sent an email to technical support about that. I guess I should check my standing items when I get home.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

As I wrote in the initial post, I never had any Duct Tape cockpit items until this loot bag event, and now I have 1. It is not the one shown in the loot bag prizes list.

I am going to send a note to support (despite the fine print warnings against doing so) to see if anything can be done.

I noticed this too. I think it's exactly like OP says -- it says you get a Duct Tape "hanging" item, but I think that's mislabeled. It's really a standing item you get.

There is both a Duct Tape Dangler (Hanging item) and a Duct Tape (standing Item) for cockpits so either its an error in the loot bag text or the item ID string in the data base.
