Almost nobody from FW is spending any serious time in comp queue.

It's just population variables. As predicted with 1 bucket we've run the population down so low it's unsustainable. The event is a big part of that but it's tough to get people back after stuff like this

You get ghost drops because nobody plays that mode. Happens plenty of times on both sides, trust me.

It's like PGI believed they had "fixed" the population problem when they went to one bucket..... which while it made getting drops easier (by condensing population) it demoralized (even more) players who cared a lot about their particular faction...especially as no (promised ) smaller faction vs. factions have materialized. Tuk was a nice shot in the arm, but the momentum of that is spent and hopes seem pinned on timeline jump .....which has potential for disaster (as far as FW) with how it could play out balance-wise...imho

When PGI runs events where the math (30 matches in 3 days) supports QP or scouting....it will of course leave Invasion starved for players...it's not rocket science....but it shocks me that they still run long events that will kill FW invasions queues for weeks. Heck, I am a FW-first player...but we were doing group queue last week (to get matches in) and even that was going slow enough that I threatened to drop group if guys wouldn't stop messing with their mechs between matches.

I agree Marquis.

Remember when we were concerned that when a planet got to 100%, all matches stopped?

Now apply that circumstances to an entire faction with a single tug-of-war bar...

I have honestly pretty much given up even trying to drop on IS maps when it gets this bad.Too bad there is no means to be able to see how many pers are dropping in the two buckets
