MAD 2 != Mad Cat Mk. II.

MAD 2 == Marauder 2. Not IIC. 2.

There needs to be some informative "about" section somewhere in the game where it can include a note like this:

MAD = Marauder -------- http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Marauder
MAD II = Marauder II -------- http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Marauder_II
MAD IIC = Marauder IIC -------- http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Marauder_IIC
Mad Cat = Timberwolf -------- http://www.sarna.net...r_Wolf_(Mad_Cat)
MCII = Mad Cat Mk. II -------- http://www.sarna.net...i/Mad_Cat_Mk_II

It's computer programming lingo. It means "not equal to." For example 64!=52 returns true, but 64!=64 returns false and so on.

Though it would be partially saved by the fact of having high mounted ballistics, though it will require pgi to be a bit more creative with their hardpoints instead of lumping them all in 1 side torso(and yes 3 ballistics in st is already being creative)
Have mauler style placement iwth 2b in each side torso and it will be decent mech.

Oh and theres always 4h with ******* ELEVEN missile hardpoints.

that i know, i made a quip about how can you explain something that it could be easily understood.

Though its not a lingo, its logical function in programming languages.

I know that's the correct way, but I always go with /=/ for "does not equal to". 'shrugs' Easier for me to see than a single exclamation point.

I remember when I was a noob: Hey a MAL-MX90 over the ridge ...I don't know what that is, lets go face tank it.

You learn by doing. I got taught many a hard lesson by all the macro meta maulers while learning the ropes in T5 in the first 2 mechs I unlocked to level: a JR7-F and CTF-4X. Pretty much rage quit everyday back then.
