I would very much like to have the symbols for contacts, nav points, etc., 'stack' on either the left or the right ends of the HUD compass tape when they are not within the front 'arc' of a mech instead of simply disappearing as they do now. This would give very useful information to the pilot as to which direction to turn towards to quickly acquire/re acquire the target or resume course to a waypoint Etc.. To me it seems this would lead to better situational awareness, many times I've had to unnecessarily perform a nearly 360' turn in one direction or the other to find my target when if I'd only had an indicator 'stacked' on the compass I would have only needed to turn 20-30 deg in the other direction and I would have much more efficiently re acquired said target!
