1) First of all I think the whole "skills" needs to be renamed to "modules"
Each little component should be a device that gets put into your mech.
Skill points would just be like "device hard points"
That way you can have "lenses" for lasers, magnetic accelerators for velocity increase etc
Cryogenic Absorbers for heat capacity etc some more pseudo tech names.
Gxp and xp should be some sort of "mech forces only" currency that you earn from service, instead of skill points.
2) I think the whole firepower tree should be split up into 3 trees a ballistics/missile/energy weapon tree
Just doesnt make sense that "range" should increase all weapon types ranges , heat production etc
3) the heat gen reduction perks I think need to be slightly better per point currently it;'s -0.75% try it at -1% and if thats too good try -.85%
