... intents and purposes about TWICE the size of a Nova.

I don't see how even new tech will help the poor thing.

Except it is a chicken walker so should be closer to the size of a Crab.

I guess, but it's both very wide, high and deep/long... I guess they used some very low density materials.

Overall, the volume may be right considering its legs and arms are quite thin, but it's really the CT and ST's that count, and these will likely get the Uziel in an early grave.

Uhhhh the Crab has a completely different torso shape, so... nah?

The problem is the legs and arms are SO skinny that the torso has to make up the bulk of the volume.

Was it Yeonne who said this mech very closely resembled the Cataphract? I would love to see their profiles on top of each other haha.

It carries a lot of weight in it's chest area, but just think of the peeking with those shoulder mounts and it will probably be tough to leg.

Only reason I see to use this mech is to run an lxl/xl from 360-390

Only 3 other 50 ton mechs can do this and not 1 of them has JJ.

I'm actually liking the high torso energy mounts. But, yeah, going to be LFE only for me. No XL for that one.

Hoping that big tube in the middle disappears with no missile mounted.

The Stormcrow is pretty tall and I know it's a 55 tonner.

The Nova is a completely different shape. It has huge legs, hips and arms. The Uziel has skinny legs and tiny arms. A better comparison would have been the Huntsman which has a more upright stance. I bought the Uziel. It will be the only IS Mech I play.

I do think I said as much, months ago when it was made known it was coming.... Though the LFE will help, but it will give up either speed or weapons to make use of a LFE over an XL....

seems like its an awkwardly big target for only 50 tons. it really does seem to be almost double the size of a nova.

They're about the same width torso-wise. The Uziel is taller but the Nova's arms are much, much bigger.

Really, the biggest concern for me is the utter lack of durability quirks. That's going to hurt.

The Uziel is not twice the size of a Nova. The Nova is half the size that it's supposed to be.

Don't compare the Uziel to a mech that is extraordinarily underscaled. When PGI rescaled it, they went about twice too far.

The Nova is more compact than several light mechs, let alone other 50 tonners. It's really not a.good comparison when you have stuff like the Shadowhawk or Stormcrow.

Those are 55 tonners, not 50.....Huntsmen, Enforcer would be more natural comparison

you have to remember the Nova carries most of its Valume in its Huge Knuckle Dragging arms,
the Uziel has extremely small arms and thin Legs, im just worried it will need lots of Armor Quirks to be good,

also remember Height doesnt matter anything to Size,
as if the Stance were changed it would be shorter with out changing size

Hey look on the bright size.. It could be phoenix hawk sized, and be as tall as a black knight.

EDIT: oh wait the phoenix hawk is 5 tons lighter than an uziel. so i guess yeah the uziel has to stay smaller..
