With Civil War upon us, i went through my inventory to create some spare cash. I made 70millions in total, its like going through your winter coat pockets at the start of winter and finding lose change! fun!

Sold every std engine under 200 and kept one of each above 200 and 2 above 250.
C_XL400, i dont need half of you either.
300 shs? well ill keep 50 because... ill keep 50 anyways.
JJ of all sorts, only kept 10
I kept one of each ISXL, even the bad ones.
C_AC? all sold!
Sold half of all my IS AC too.
73ML gone! i kept some.
LRM and ALRM, srm, asrm, i can keep enough for a few loadout and the rest, sold!
30+ plain PPCs, wow, you guys are sad never being used, go find a better life elsewhere. SOLD!

Since i started playing ive cleaned the inventory maybe once a year. Usualy only sold half of what i had, this time the clean up was better.

Are you planing to do the same? Whats your master plan?

I already did that when the Skill Maze hit.

I sat on 170m for a while.. then got bored and bought a half of a dozen new chassis..

I still have 145m waiting for Tuesday. I'll probably only spend 60-70m on new engines and maybe 10-20m on new equipment.. and grab a Jaeger DD for UAC10s and pick up either a Rifleman 5D or theCatIsFat 3D for HPPCs.

..then I'll save the ~50m left over for when Paul#2 brings out the nerf bat for next month's patch to swat down overperformers and re-re-rebalance a few chassis / weapons.

I'll only sell if I absolutely need the money. I've got like 10 AC5s not counting the ones already equipped. But I figure maybe some day I'll get a Mauler and fit 5 of them on there. Or perhaps 6 on an Annihilator just to be cheeky.

I have -+180millions and i dunno if ill blow through it at all. LFE and the sheer amount of new weaponry i will buy wont be cheap but since the tree hit i seems to change mech less often. I enjoy building a mech and playing it for one or two night straight instead of trying to split my time at grinding different variant and then playing an old mech i like. New weapon might have me all over the place again, changing mech often to try new loadout.

I expect to refill my inventory of unused stuff as i retrofit my mech with new tech.

I do this on a routine basis. I keep no more than 10 of any item, except Omni pods and double heatsinks.

What do you mean? All my mech are kited and im not unequiping stuff to sell it. Its all unused stuff.

Wolverine is sad:( According to Sidekick from Rancid, that could be dangerous.

I mean look at what can use new tech, see if it's a yes/maybe/no and remove/leave equipment as required.

Well I grew up poor. So I'll probably share an engine between many mechs. Probably just get a 350 LFE for my Banshees. 250 LFE for my mediums. Not sure about which one I'll get for my heavies.

Then the weapons I want for a few builds I have in mind.

yes, i also have a hard time of selling everything of something but i dont need 80 spare ml(even without erml incoming) or any std under 200. Extra std made me most of my cash. I still keep a minimal amount of everything. Except plain ppc. I even kept some Clb5x, the weapon that is impossible to find ingame, even sl has more game time.

Yeah been doing house cleaning for a couple weeks now. I figured out I would need roughly 210-250 million C-bills for a full retrofit of my entire stable so I have been working toward that goal for a while now. I got 163 million saved and will be getting 13 million from my two pre-orders so I am figuring on between 175-180 million ready to go.

That being said, I am strongly considering selling off even more of my inventory, especially my extra Clan Omnipods. I mean I do occasionally change things up or test out new things but I have 19 million in pods and at worst case I think I would only need to rebuy 3-4 million worth of pods over the next 6-12 months. That would leave me about 15 million to the positive I could use on other things like buying skills.

I also got to consider that once I start swapping things out, my inventory is going to swell with alot of old tech, I mean I plan on replacing 159 medium lasers with ER medium lasers so I will get 6.36 million C-bills returned after I sell them off. Then when you consider I am going to replace 37 XLs and Standard engines with LFEs, I figure I am going to get probably 50-60 million back there so I should be ok for my retrofitting costs, I think.

That being the case, it honestly might be better to take a wait and see approach before selling off Omnipods or any of my remaining inventory because you just never know what your going to need or want in the future.

That's too bad. The Wolverine with UAC jam reduction looked like a real winner for refitting with UAC/10's as a main gun, plus replacing the head mount with an ERML.

I have 199 million at the moment to refit my 100 Mechs. I probably wont sell anything unless I run short on cash. That said LRM20s, guass rifles, ac2s, case, bap, single heatsinks, narcs and tags are things I've sold in the past to raise c bills.

This reminds me, I have a ridiculous amount of STD300 engines that need to be sold.

Now if only we could sell ammo.

I wouldn't go and liquidate all your inventory just yet. I would hang on to it. The new tech is not meant to be a replacement to old tech. You may find it beneficial to some chassis to mix it up a bit.

wish I could sell armor as well. Got like 20k of each type, standard, IS Ferro and Clan Ferro sitting around and doing nothing.

Thank god it isn't a full replacement or else I wouldn't even have close to enough C-bills to retrofit. Still there is alot you can get rid of. I mean I seriously don't see me running many IS MLs unless I am just completely tapped out on heat and can't afford the extra heat the ER MLs generate. Standard PPCs are another thing I mostly got rid of.

I have tons of STD 260s I can flip. Tons of Small Pulse, Medium Pulse, LRM10, and LRM5, too. I almost never use LRMs, so no love lost, there.
