Mkay, so I built a Madcat:



I'm not sure if the mech should feel humiliated, if I should, or whomever is responsible for the final modeling. But, I'm sorry, a mech should not be easily confused with Peter F***ing Cottontail hopping along the bunny trail; and yet here we are.

I think the ears should've been laid out horizontally, or even ideally containing all 12 SRMs inside each (there's plenty of space up there to do it, if ATM12 in one ear is possible so is SRM12).

But seriously... they couldn't have screwed that poor thing up much worse if they had intentionally tried to do it to spite Impy.

Maybe it's a sneaky way of trying to troll Imperius? That's the best and only justification I can think of.

Yeah. Well, I've said my piece about these mechs. I did my part to get the K2 fixed, somehow got my K9 in, etc... so I ain't gonna push it. Someone else can lead this crusade.

Besides... last time I pushed for something we ended up with Volumetric Scaling. I know, I know, you can thank me later.

Trolling a dedicated whale with a Mad Cat fetish...I wouldn't put it past PGI. I think this is the best and most likely explanation.

I mean I just can't think of how they could have made this iconic mech look LESS bada$$. A pink nose and fluffy tail would not lookout of place on this thing.

The more I think about it, the more likely this explanation seems to be. The entire reason that Imperius is a forum meme is because of his endless tidal wave of Mad Kitty Mk. 2 threads and begging Rusty on Twitter. This is the only thing he's known for. It completely defines him as a character.

This could be PGI's way of saying "Be careful what you ask for..."

Well..... I think it's all in HOW ya ask... I got a fixed Warhammer model, a fixed K2 and a Police Car Urbie...... though I never actually asked for the last one because I didn't want to come across too self serving.... (I just didn't discourage others from asking.....)

Well, technically yuge tiny arms allow for it to be hit less (pro-comp), but I'm also told the weapon firing position/orientation is actually a problem with the classic 2 PPC build as it doesn't converge properly nor fire properly (missing PPC projectile).

So, I'm sure we'll get over such a wonderful addition/patch.
