Not only because it's annoying as **** but because it's what makes sense. If it has smaller damage points per shot then it's because the ammo impact is less aggressive than a single slug from an AC. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, they should have MG-esque sparks impact, with just a bit of boom like AC2 boom.
