PGI hasn't given banked Premium Time for a while. They do it this way so that you have to buy more PT instead of only activating it in one-month chunks when you actually plan to play a lot.

Actually, they gave banked Premium time all the way up to the Javelin release this year and still do for that Mech. It is actually a really good deal because the Javelin is a decent Light. You get 3 Javelin variants, 3 Mechbays, 3 cockpit items and 30 days of Banked Premium time, all for $15. Or you could spend $12 and just get 30 days of Banked premium time.

Every regular Mechpak prior to the Javelin which was released May18, 2017 had 30 days Banked Premium time. Now, you get active Premium time which starts as soon as you log in and accept the content.

I think Resistance and Clan Wave 3 were the last banked premium time offerings.
EDIT: Oh javelin pack was the last of it? Damn.


I really think they cheat their players when they don't allow it to be banked.

I do not know about cheating the players but it has put me in a position where I will probably not play my 3 Civil War Mechs until the end of the first week in August. I have to leave next week to travel for a couple weeks and will not have access to a computer that can run MWO. So if I sign on now to play around with the new stuff then I will end up wasting about 1/6 of my Premium time.

I have 244 days 22h days of active time and 4 years 55 days of Banked. I just don't get how people worry about Premium Time.

No they dumped it straight into active time. Not banked. Its so u have no choice when you want to use it.

Marketing ploy so they hope you will buy more. Like if you want to save your banked until you have holidays. Now you cant.

I still got banked premium time from the Phoenix mechs. I can't activate it because I can't play MWO for 30 days straight. Now if only I could activate it in batches of 2 or 3 days...

Maybe its because some people don't spend a small fortune on mech packs?

Because of the gray market of folks illegally selling their accounts. Banked time is seen as a commodity.
